A Scope of Works document is a way of capturing the tasks (no matter how big or small) so your builder can work out an accurate quote for you rather than having too many provisional sums.

So you've decided to renovate your home but you need to let the builder know exactly what you need to get done for him to provide you with a quote.

Having a scope of works document can result in you saving £££ on your renovation by capturing everything and not missing anything out. It also allows you to think about other areas of the renovation you may have not thought about or had a quote for.

Filling in the Scope of Works document at the early stage of your planning will give you plenty of time to define and refine it. 

Here is what you will receive with the Scope of Works template:
An excel document ready for you to fill in. 
Sections include Exterior, Interiors and Material.
Itemised rows making it easier to not miss anything out.
 
Download and save a Master file on your PC. Once the document has been filled in, you can send this as a PDF to the builder ready to quote. You may not be able to fill in all the details or columns but the more that can be done, the less likely you'll receive a quote from the contractors that is accurate to what you want carried out.
